Monday Sale of Church Building
Thanks to Sara Miller for reading scripture this morning.
Church Closing Most of you received a letter detailing the sale of our building to University Bible Fellowship – a transaction that will be completed on tomorrow. Our final service is this morning.
Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering We usually collect this offering in December, but, since we won’t be here then, we are collecting it this month. So far we have collected $325. (Make checks out to Roundy, as usual.)
Keys Please leave all keys to the church today (unless you need to be in the building later today or tomorrow). Be sure to leave them by tomorrow. Thank you.
Next Sunday, those who would like may attend Underwood Memorial Baptist Church at 1919 Wauwatosa Ave. (a few blocks south of North Ave. on 76th St./Wauwatosa Ave.). Worship begins at 10:00. Jo Ellen will drive, but she will have to return immediately after worship because she is helping clean up after the Rotary Pancake Breakfast at Cardinal Stritch. Some may want to car-pool. If so, let Jo Ellen know.
Worship Attendance Schedule There are schedules available in the Narthex for churches to visit together. Pick one up if you would like. Don’t forget that, on December 11, we will meet at the Party Room at the White Oak Apartments (9100 building) for pizza. The pizza will be delivered at 12:15. Please join us.
The winter Secret Place is available in the narthex.
Give-Away Items In the chapel there are items that need a home. Please help yourself!
The University Bible Fellowship has said that if there is no conflict with their use of the building, Roundy members can rent their building for funerals and weddings. This is a most generous gift.
Thank You I’m sure I can speak for Wilanna and Heather – as well as myself – in thanking you for your generosity in the monetary gift you voted to give us at the conclusion of our ministry together. It was a wonderful surprise and is most appreciated. --Jo Ellen
Madison Half Marathon Paul Lee is running this race on May 27, 2012 – a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Paul is running in memory of his father, Ron Lee, who passed away from colon cancer in 1998. Paul needs to raise a minimum of $1,000 and must meet this goal by March 27, 2012. Please see the information for online donations and mail-in forms in the narthex, and let him or Sandy know if you’re mailing your donation so Paul can keep track of it. Thank you!
